Update about Community Development

In the fight to protect endangered Gorillas & other animals, and preserve biodiversity, we are not just working to save animals, we’re also transforming the lives of local communities. By bridging the gap between wildlife protection and human well-being, we are proving that the future of our planet depends on collaboration, education, and sustainable livelihoods.

The Intersection of Conservation and Community

For decades, conservation efforts often overlooked the needs of local communities, leading to conflicts between humans and wildlife. However, we recognize that the key to long-term success lies in empowering the people who live alongside these animals. By involving locals in conservation initiatives, they are creating a win-win situation: protecting wildlife while improving the quality of life for communities.

Through this, we have significantly reduces number of porchers who have now transformed their lives into farmers and business men/women.

Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty.
